About the role

Senior Recruiting Business Partner at AWS Talent Acquisition in Australia, leading candidate generation and recruiting strategies across diverse roles, partnering with hiring managers, and focusing on data-driven, continuous improvement in recruitment practices. In-office role, five days per week at CBD locations (Sydney or Melbourne).

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business to understand roles and responsibilities and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Build and maintain network of potential candidates through proactive market research and relationship management, assessing cultural alignment and motivation.
  • Utilize all sourcing channels (employee referrals, internal CRM, career portals, job fairs, etc.).
  • Be a subject matter expert on the talent market and contribute to long-range talent landscape strategies.
  • Implement and refine recruiting processes to align with Amazon's mission and deliver high-quality results.
  • Actively participate in recruitment efforts with emphasis on evaluating candidates' skills and maintaining high bar.
  • Manage data associated with the recruitment process using data-driven thinking and systematic approaches.
  • Pursue continuous improvement and educate hiring managers and interviewers on recruitment best practices and interview skills training.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of corporate and/or search firm progressive recruiting including full lifecycle recruiting experience
