About the role

Senior sales role focused on Streaming TV and video advertising solutions within Amazon Ads, partnering with internal teams to drive adoption of STV (Streaming TV) offerings for advertisers and agencies in Japan.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering the highest level of sales and customer service to our clients
  • Scaling video GTM strategies across LCS
  • Developing and implementing bespoke industry strategies within assigned verticals
  • Service and operations team engagement as it pertains to new and emerging products
  • Partnering with LCS and Vertical Marketing to develop narratives that differentiate Amazon Ads offerings tied to customer objectives and business outcomes
  • Representing Amazon Ads externally at industry events to drive Upfront and annual commitments
  • Proposing Amazon Video solutions to advertisers, agencies, and media buyers to secure new business and ongoing spend
  • Collaborating with internal operations teams, product teams, and other business units to create, propose, confirm, implement, and report on video solution plans for advertisers
  • Collecting and analyzing campaign performance data to optimize live campaigns and inform future spend

Qualifications

  • Experience building customer relationships
  • Knowledge of digital marketplace and understanding of the video competitive landscape
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese at a business level or above (N1+)
  • Experience in streaming TV sales and/or business development
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
  • Strong knowledge of the Japan media landscape and video buying practices
