About the role

Senior AI/ML practitioner in AWS Professional Services (ASEAN) advising enterprise customers on Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Machine Learning transformations on AWS, leading large-scale AI/ML engagements from strategy to delivery, and mentoring delivery teams.

Responsibilities

  • Advise customer technologists and business leaders on Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Machine Learning to design scalable AI solutions on AWS that deliver measurable business value
  • Discuss complex industry-specific business and technology concepts with senior customer stakeholders across FSI, Telecommunications, and Retail industries
  • Lead executive and technical workshops with customers to identify transformation opportunities and define AI/ML transformation roadmaps
  • Drive large and complex customer engagements across pre-sales and delivery from ideation and strategy through architecture design, scoping, execution, and delivery outcomes
  • Provide technical leadership and delivery oversight across customer engagements to ensure alignment on scope, architecture, deliverables, timelines, risks, and business outcomes
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders, guiding AI and cloud transformation initiatives with governance, scalability, and operational readiness
  • Mentor consultants and delivery teams by promoting AWS best practices and high standards of technical and delivery excellence across engagements

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53 & S3)
  • Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing environments
  • Experience with training and deploying machine learning systems to solve large-scale optimizations or experience effectively resolving customer problems under pressure
  • 5+ years of building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business applications with strategic thinking about business, solutions, and technical challenges
  • A minimum of 3 years working experience in ASEAN region and ability to travel to customer locations in ASEAN as needed for pre-sales and delivery activities
