About the role

Senior applied scientist role within Amazon Advertising's CreativeX team focusing on AI-driven solutions for automating and improving high-quality creatives (text, audio, images, videos) using generative models (latent diffusion, LLMs, generative audio, CV, RL) to accelerate advertiser-facing features and product-ready code.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Generative AI solutions (LLMs, latent diffusion, generative audio, computer vision) to democratize access to high-quality creatives for advertisers.
  • Collaborate with product managers and other scientists to deliver customer-facing features.
  • Publish, patent, and bring research innovations to the team.
  • Build and deploy product-ready code and scalable ML systems.
  • Contribute to the team’s capability in AI research and applied science to improve CreativeX offerings.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business applications
  • PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience
  • Experience with large-scale machine learning systems (profiling, debugging, scalability)
  • Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Java or Perl
