About the role

Amazon Leo seeks a Software Development Engineer to build and maintain core software infrastructure for ingesting, processing, and visualizing satellite telemetry data and to develop real-time monitoring systems for anomaly detection and proactive alerting within the Atlas team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software systems that meet the mission criteria and requirements.
  • Collaborate with your fellow team members to form a strong foundation for a software organization in Leo.
  • Help on-board new team members.
  • Utilize AWS and other Amazon technologies to build high-available software services.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
