About the role

Amazon Brazil is seeking a dynamic Retail Manager to join the Retail team, focusing on selection, data analysis, vendor performance, terms negotiations, and promotions to drive category growth in Premium Beauty and Retail Consumables. The role involves managing vendor relationships, cross-functional collaboration, P&L ownership for subcategories or vendor groups, and driving store promotions and market insights.

Responsibilities

  • Owns end-to-end retail business for subcategories or vendor groups, including P&L from topline to free cash flow
  • Drive selection, secure great prices, and increase convenience/speed to accelerate Amazon’s flywheel
  • Audit and escalate vendor performance, negotiate terms, and develop long-term partnerships
  • Collaborate with central and functional teams to implement initiatives and drive CX or cost improvements
  • Represent customer and business needs in cross-functional projects and initiatives
  • Lead negotiations with top vendors to improve terms and build selection
  • Drive store marketing promotions and respond to industry trends
  • Work with Brazilian and global vendors on terms improvements, analysis, projections, and decision-maker negotiations

Qualifications

  • Experience in account management, project/program management, or buying
  • Experience with business analysis and P&L management
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions
  • Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
  • Experience with Excel
  • Preferred: Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
