About the role

Senior Technical Program Manager in Amazon’s Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) focused on Fulfillment Optimization, Planning. Lead cross-functional technical programs end-to-end, develop roadmaps, coordinate with scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to optimize fulfillment and planning processes at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Program leadership: Drive complex, cross-functional technical programs end to end — from fuzzy idea to delivered impact — across science, engineering, and ops teams.
  • Roadmaps & mechanisms: Build and own roadmaps, operating cadences, and the mechanisms that keep everyone aligned and accountable.
  • Cross-team alignment: Partner with scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to translate optimization goals into clear, executable plans.
  • Risk management: Spot risks and dependencies early, clear roadblocks, and keep programs humming even when the terrain gets tricky.
  • Metrics & goals: Define success metrics, track progress against goals, and keep a clear-eyed view of what’s working (and what needs a nudge).
  • Executive communication: Craft crisp, compelling updates for senior leaders — turning complexity into confident, decision-ready narratives.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
