About the role

Travel Specialist to support the New York team with vendor management and day-to-day travel operations to and from global offices, overseeing the booking process, ensuring travel guidelines compliance, and collaborating with travel management partners.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the booking process for New York-based employees to ensure adherence to travel guidelines.
  • Collaborate with teams across the firm to provide a smooth and efficient travel experience.
  • Work closely with the travel management company and troubleshoot operational issues as they arise.
  • Maintain travel resource documents and webpages.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for travel.
  • Manage travel expenses and analyze travel spend.

Qualifications

  • University degree, preferably in hospitality or a related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a corporate, travel, or hospitality environment (previous travel booker experience preferred)
  • Experience with G Suite and Excel
  • Exceptional customer service attitude; proactive and able to handle competing requests
  • Reliable, flexible team player with strong organizational skills; detail-oriented
  • Able to work independently, take initiative, and resolve outstanding issues
  • Analytical thinker with strong writing and people skills
  • Ability to work primarily on-site in New York with a flexible schedule including after-hours monitoring
  • Familiarity with Workday, Jira, and Concur is a plus

Benefits

  • Base salary $100,000 - $130,000 with annual discretionary bonus (total compensation)
