About the role

Pulse is building production-grade unstructured document extraction. The role focuses on designing and operating a secure, multi-tenant deployment platform in a fast-growing San Francisco startup that combines computer vision, NLP, and data infrastructure to extract structured information from complex documents at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Terraform modules and GitHub Actions CI and CD
  • Operate EKS, autoscaling, ingress, and secrets management
  • Implement SSO, network controls, and audit logging
  • Set up logging, metrics, and tracing with clear SLOs
  • Drive capacity planning and cost optimization

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in DevOps or platform engineering
  • Strong Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and Linux fundamentals
  • Experience supporting security reviews and compliance evidence
