About the role
Pulse is seeking its first dedicated Growth and Marketing hire to translate complex engineering work into clear, technical content and build Pulse’s marketing function from the ground up. This role combines technical writing, content creation, and strategic marketing to communicate Pulse’s document intelligence platform to technical audiences across blog posts, social media, product launches, sales materials, and events.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit technical content: deep-dive blog posts on how our models and pipeline work, benchmark releases, release notes, and customer stories
- Run Pulse’s LinkedIn and X presence in a consistent company voice and grow an audience of technical practitioners
- Own core messaging and positioning across priority industries and keep it current as the product evolves
- Run product launches end to end, from understanding what shipped to the blog post, landing page, social, and email that announce it
- Turn engineering work, evaluations, and customer results into materials the sales team uses: one-pagers, solution briefs, and evaluation guides
- Plan and execute Pulse’s presence at industry conferences, executive dinners, and roundtables
- Work in HubSpot and Webflow, and report on inbound interest, content engagement, and share of voice
Qualifications
- 0-4 years in technical writing, content, developer relations, or marketing at a startup or agency; new grads with strong writing and a portfolio of published work are encouraged to apply
- Exceptional written communication for technical audiences, with the ability to explain how a system works clearly and without hype
- Enough technical fluency to interview engineers, read a benchmark table, and hold your own in conversations with engineering and data teams
- Experience writing for social media, or a clear point of view on what works on LinkedIn and X for a technical audience
- Bias to ship: a blog post or landing page in hours, not weeks
Skills
Required:Technical writing
Benefits
- Competitive base salary plus equity
- relocation assistance for Bay Area moves
- daily meal stipend
- medical, vision, and dental coverage
