About the role

Design, UI / UX role responsible for creating simple, delightful experiences and working across teams to develop impactful products.

Responsibilities

  • Design products - systems, interactions, pixels that are simple and delightful.
  • Craft product design requirements, specs, and briefs; manage feedback from multiple teams.
  • Translate user research into well defined user problems.
  • Partner with product management and engineering to design impact metrics.
  • Collaborate with marketing to tell the story of product features.
  • Evolve UI design system to meet growing product complexity.
  • Conduct independent user research, testing, and feedback to inform design decisions.
  • Champion visual craftsmanship through testing and evaluation of engineering deliverables.
  • Mentor team members and advocate for design thinking.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional experience in design.
  • Strong systems thinking ability, understanding of layout, typography, color.
  • Passion for design and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, clear articulation of design decisions.
  • Experience shipping real products and iterating based on insights.
  • Resilience in early-stage startup environment; open to discomfort and ambiguity.
