About the role

The Solutions Engineer acts as the primary technical point of contact for customers, helping with onboarding, implementation, support, and feedback to product teams in a fast-moving startup environment, primarily in San Francisco.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers evaluating, onboarding, and ramping with Seam.
  • Understand customer needs and design solutions that align with their infrastructure using Seam’s platform.
  • Partner with Sales for post-sales implementations and ensuring quick onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain technical guides to streamline workflows.
  • Support product configuration and deliver minor technical changes.
  • Troubleshoot support inquiries and triage requests to engineers.
  • Discover new ways of working with customers to embed products.
  • Feed customer feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
  • Build playbooks and best practices for scalable Solutions Engineering.
  • Travel to customer offices for technical deep dives and architecture sessions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar role.
  • Experience working directly with customers of varying sizes and technical proficiency.
  • Proficiency coding in an unspecified language (TBD).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort with presentation and customer interactions.
  • Organized, self-starter approach with a creative mindset.
  • Experience working in a small, fast-paced startup environment.
  • Excitement to work in person in San Francisco.
