About the role

Lead product design at Seam, focusing on platform aesthetics, usability, and brand consistency across a range of touchpoints including dashboards, SDKs, UIs, and apps, with a goal to create powerful yet approachable IoT control products.

Responsibilities

  • Own design end-to-end, from early concepts to polished interfaces in production.
  • Build and maintain systems, patterns, and standards that keep design fast and consistent.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and leadership to align design decisions with company goals.
  • Communicate concisely and clearly with teammates, balancing autonomy with collaboration.
  • Model resourcefulness by moving fast, finding creative solutions, and navigating constraints.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product design experience, ideally across both SaaS dashboards and consumer apps.
  • Strength in interaction design, visual design, and systems thinking.
  • Experience designing for technical products, developer tools, or complex workflows.
  • Comfort owning design end-to-end as the only designer on the team.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating clear, elegant solutions to complex problems.
  • Excited to work in person with the team in San Francisco.
