Head of Operations
About the role
Responsible for smooth warehouse operations, inventory management, coordinating online sales and logistics, and leading warehouse staff.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that global online staff and warehouse are well coordinated
- Ensure warehouse staff are productive in carrying out their duties
- Ensure that inventory is always up to date
- Implement processes that enable the team to operate smoothly
- Coordinate local pickups from buyers
- Lead warehouse staff and online sales team to ensure orders are within SLAs
- Manage all logistics accounts and any bills
- Submit all RMA’s in a timely fashion
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field from a recognised and accredited University
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years of relevant professional experience within an e-commerce, retail merchandising or category management role
- Adequate knowledge of the Online Marketplace and the E-commerce Industry
- Proven analytical thinking, project management skills, and exceptional organisational skills
- Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environments
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
