Sr. Software Engineer
About the role
Senior backend-focused software engineer role at Greenboard, a YC-backed company building an on-premise-like all-in-one financial compliance platform. On-site in New York City, focusing on scalable systems, AI-enabled compliance use cases, and data infrastructure in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Solve challenging technical problems (e.g., building AI agents to detect insider trading)
- Scale message archiving systems to handle tens of millions of messages per day
- Own and contribute to the design and implementation of secure, scalable systems in AWS
- Develop scalable data infrastructure and work with AI/ML concepts as applicable
- Collaborate with a team of engineers in a fast-paced startup environment
Qualifications
- 3-5 Years of Industry Experience
- Strong programming skills in Node JS and Python
- Experience with architecting secure, scalable systems in AWS
- Experience with developing scalable data infrastructure
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning algorithms
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience in the financial industry is a plus, but not required
