About the role

The Operations Manager at Enerjazz is responsible for end-to-end field and operations coordination, onboarding of e-rickshaw customers, cash management, vendor and production coordination, process improvement, and team leadership to enable fast, scalable growth in the electric mobility space.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full onboarding process for new e-rickshaw customers—including documentation, orientation, and technology enablement.
  • Oversee the timely activation and handover of batteries to end users, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
  • Coordinate daily cash collections and deposits from the field team, ensuring proper accounting and reconciliation.
  • Implement controls and processes for handling, tracking, and reporting all cash flows related to battery distribution and swaps.
  • Manage relationships with welding vendors and service providers; ensure timely repair, retrofitting, or customization of rickshaws as per requirements.
  • Monitor service quality, resolve escalations, and optimize vendor performance for cost and turnaround time.
  • Liaise closely with the production and warehouse teams to align battery inventory, shipment schedules, and last-mile logistics.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of stock movements, timely dispatch, and issue resolution for delivery/returns.
  • Identify gaps and inefficiencies in operational processes; drive continuous improvement and SOP implementation.
  • Maintain dashboards and generate regular MIS reports for management on onboarding, cash flow, vendor TAT, inventory status, etc.
  • Lead and motivate a small team of field and operations executives; foster cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years’ experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management—ideally in EV, automotive, logistics, or FMCG sectors.
