About the role

Highly skilled, customer-focused Solutions Architect at Roboflow, partnering with sales to engage prospects, qualify opportunities, and design edge-based computer vision solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Opportunity Qualification: Collaborate with sales representatives to assess technical feasibility and compatibility of potential projects with our computer vision solutions. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business objectives, technical constraints, and use cases.
  • Solution Design: Design tailored solutions that meet customer requirements by selecting and integrating appropriate components across hardware, software, and edge deployment configurations. Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices for computer vision.
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our computer vision platform, including specifications, deployment methodologies, and customization options. Provide guidance on edge deployments, data handling, model inference, and integrations with client infrastructure.
  • Demo and Proof of Concept (POC): Lead technical demonstrations and POCs, configuring demo environments, guiding clients through the technology, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as primary technical contact for discussions about product architecture, APIs, security, scalability, and deployment scenarios.
  • Collaboration: Work with Product and Engineering teams to collect customer feedback and advocate for features that enhance solution effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Experience in solutions architecture, technical sales engineering, or related role, preferably in computer vision, AI, or IoT-focused company.
  • Industry experience in Roboflow’s target markets (e.g., manufacturing, automotive, logistics, food processing, retail).
  • Expertise in designing edge-based solutions and understanding edge computing constraints.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of computer vision, machine learning, and related technologies.
  • Experience with cloud and edge infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure IoT, or similar).
  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
  • Willingness to travel ~40%.
