About the role

Remote, contracted physician role with Blueberry Pediatrics. Per diem, 1099 contract for remote pediatric telemedicine with on-call and overflow visit responsibilities. Emphasis on evidence-based medicine, collaborative team, and mission-driven care.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill a minimum 10-12 hours of on-call time per week, primarily during high-volume hours (4p-1a EST) and weekends. Shifts are 3 hours long.
  • Pick up overflow visits when not on call (compensated at $25 per overflow visit).
  • Accomplish at least 4 or more visits per hour; higher hourly rate if more visits.
  • Manage an EMR effectively.
  • Collaborate with other doctors and customer support to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Adhere to Blueberry’s values and practice evidence-based medicine.

Qualifications

  • Licensed physician (pediatrics) in good standing
  • Experience with telehealth pediatric care
  • No conflict of interest with current job at competing pediatric telehealth company
  • Empathetic, self-motivated, collaborative, and integrity-driven
