About the role

Monarch Money is seeking Engineers to join multiple pods as the company grows. Fully remote role with various focus areas in the Engineering organization, including Core Product, Growth, Aggregation, Infra/Platform, and Security.

Responsibilities

  • Work across product-focused engineering pods to build and improve Monarch features (core product, onboarding/retention, data aggregation, infrastructure tooling, security practices).
  • Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams, value others' input, and integrate feedback into deliverables.
  • Contribute to a product-centric mindset across frontend, backend, and infra as needed to ship high-quality software.

Qualifications

  • Experience with or interest in the following tech stack: Front End (React/Typescript, React Native, Apollo/GraphQL), Back-End (Python/Django, GraphQL/Graphene, PostgreSQL, Redis), AWS, Terraform, Docker, ECS, EC2, CI/CD (CircleCI).
  • Comfort working across the full stack and in a remote, autonomous environment.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and demonstrate mentoring and documentation to help team growth.
