About the role
Monarch is seeking a Growth Product Designer (Senior/Staff) to craft high-quality user experiences and elevate personal-finance tools. The role focuses on onboarding and new user experience within the Growth pod, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize activation, onboarding, engagement, and retention.
Responsibilities
- Design Excellence – Own end-to-end product and visual design, ensuring a high bar for UI/UX through detailed execution.
- Experimentation and User Research – Scope and run experiments, conduct research with customers, test prototypes, and refine UX based on insights.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with product and engineering teams to define features, work through technical constraints, iterate on designs, and ensure seamless handoff and implementation of designs.
- Strategic Impact – Within the first 90 days, get up to speed with Monarch’s design system and take ownership of new product design projects that enhance our new members’ experience.
Qualifications
- 4+ years designing across mobile and web at a consumer-focused company.
- Strong visual design skills, attention to detail, and a systems-thinking approach.
- Comfortable working closely with founders, product managers, and engineers in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience designing both experiments and 0-1 end-to-end experiences.
