About the role

EliseAI is hiring a Founding Technical Recruiter to own the full recruiting lifecycle for technical roles inSan Francisco, helping build out the engineering team and scale the SF office.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full recruiting lifecycle for technical roles, from sourcing through offer negotiation
  • Partner closely with engineering leadership to understand hiring needs, technical requirements, and team culture
  • Source and engage world-class engineering talent using advanced sourcing strategies, including boolean searches, GitHub, Stack Overflow, X, in-person events, and other creative channels
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines across backend, full-stack, infrastructure, and other technical roles
  • Help grow and establish EliseAI’s engineering presence in SF through local networking, events, and community engagement
  • Lead candidate outreach, conduct prescreening calls, and guide candidates through the interview process
  • Represent EliseAI’s technical brand and value proposition effectively to passive candidates
  • Ensure our ATS is up to date and use data-driven insights to optimize recruiting performance
  • Contribute to improving recruiting processes, tools, and strategies based on data and feedback from the team
  • Support additional recruiting initiatives and projects as needed

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter with a focus on technical roles
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced environment
  • Strong sourcing skills and experience with creative candidate engagement techniques
  • Excitement about helping build and scale an engineering office in SF from an early stage
  • Ability to quickly adapt and iterate on outreach and targeting strategies based on hiring trends and feedback
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask
  • Strong EQ and analytical skills
  • Willingness to work in person at our office 5 days a week
