About the role

Responsibilities

  • You’ll be working on backend systems for a technology product used by customers
  • Enjoy building a product that people use every day and make data-informed decisions
  • Collaborate in a team that handles ambiguity and focuses on distributed systems and resilient software
  • Contribute to systems using Go, Cassandra, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, Envoy, AWS and GCP, React for frontend tools
  • Participate in an interview process including system design and behavioral components
  • Operate within flexible work hours and support for work-life balance

Qualifications

  • Strong experience building the backend of a technology product
  • Product mindset with a focus on customer outcomes and data-informed decisions
  • Comfort with ambiguity in team environments
  • Interest in distributed systems and resilient software
  • Experience with strongly-typed languages (Go, Java, C, Scala, etc.)
