About the role

Founding engineer at TraceRoot.AI, an open-source AI agent improvement platform. Build product alongside founders, shape engineering culture, and ship features weekly with close in-person collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Talk to users often to understand how to improve TraceRoot’s AI and UX (10-20% of time on support)
  • Ship full-stack features and build foundational blocks for users to build apps
  • Maintain open-source projects to grow developer community
  • Improve AI agents’ performance, reliability, and edge-case handling
  • Build robust infrastructure for end-to-end platform to power millions of telemetry events

Qualifications

  • Strong full-stack experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js (production features end-to-end)
  • Strong sense of ownership and autonomy to own features from start to finish
  • Strong communicator and collaborator within small teams
  • Scrappy, execution-driven, bias for action
  • Relentless builder mindset under pressure and with limited resources
