About the role

Open Source AI Agent Improvement Platform. You’ll own how TraceRoot talks to developers, writing and shipping posts, launches, and docs to drive developer adoption. In-person collaboration with the CEO at least 3 days/week; potential path into a full-time GTM role.

Responsibilities

  • Write the things developers actually read — technical deep dives, postmortems, and docs-as-marketing about what breaks in production agents and how to see it.
  • Run the launches — Hacker News, Product Hunt, Reddit, and X. Write the post, prepare assets, engage in comments, and follow through to convert spikes into retained users.
  • Own SEO and GEO — create comparison pages and problem-first pages that rank, and get TraceRoot cited by AI assistants when relevant.
  • Show the product, don't describe it — create demo clips, screenshots, and walkthroughs; coordinate dev-influencer collabs and hackathons; maintain active community support.
  • Know what worked — track which post, page, or launch drove installs and traces; use PostHog for analytics.

Qualifications

  • You write, and people read it: a blog, newsletter, thread, docs, or README.
  • Technically curious enough to install TraceRoot, read a stack trace, and explain what happened without hand-holding.
  • Taste in developer content and understanding of why posts land on Hacker News.
  • Fast and prolific: prefer shipping multiple pieces over perfecting one.
  • Strong ownership and bias for action: own outcomes, not just tasks.
