About the role

Engineering intern at TraceRoot, working side-by-side with founders to build the product and shape engineering culture. Involves full-stack development, AI systems, backend infrastructure, and open-source SDKs with weekly feature shipping and user feedback loops.

Responsibilities

  • Talk to users often to understand and improve TraceRoot’s AI and UX (10-20% of time on support)
  • Ship full-stack features and build foundational building blocks for users to build apps
  • Maintain open-source projects to grow and engage the developer community
  • Improve AI agents’ performance, reliability, and edge-case handling
  • Build robust infrastructure for the end-to-end platform to power millions of telemetry events

Qualifications

  • Strong full-stack experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js (production features shipped end-to-end)
  • Strong sense of ownership and autonomy to own features from start to finish
  • Strong communicator and collaborator within small teams
  • Scrappy and execution-driven with bias for action and results under limited resources
  • Relentless builder mindset and ability to thrive under pressure
