Responsibilities

  • Design and implement backend models and API endpoints for complex scientific workflows.
  • Build and operate rich frontend components and visualizations.
  • Design and build a platform framework or infrastructure tool for other Benchling engineers to use.

Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in a BS/MS degree in computer science and/or STEM fields with an expected graduation date between Dec 2026 and Summer 2027.
  • A prior software engineering internship or similar experience.
  • Strong problem solving abilities and iterative feedback skills.
  • Desire to have ownership over key product or platform components.
