About the role

Lead all aspects of data security for the Databricks Lakehouse platform, shaping product strategy to enable customers to meet privacy, confidentiality, and regulatory obligations with elegant policy models for secure access to assets across multiple cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of data security for the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
  • Drive product strategy to identify, prioritize and deliver external and internal controls for privacy, confidentiality, digital sovereignty and regulatory obligations.
  • Create elegant yet simple policy models enabling customers to control access to assets.
  • Help IT and security administrators feel at ease with increasing Databricks usage.
  • Deliver anonymization, retention, and residency for regulated data and sensitive assets such as AI models.
  • Partner with privacy, legal, and security teams to address evolving threats and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cloud providers to support confidential compute and unify security experiences across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product management experience with enterprise B2B or SaaS products, with experience delivering successful customer-facing products/features.
  • Domain expertise in data security, data privacy, and encryption.
  • Ability to define and deliver on success metrics, translate customer inputs into actionable requirements, and communicate product value propositions to customers and sales teams.
  • Experience partnering with senior engineering leadership and deep-diving into complex technical concepts.
  • Track record of driving business results through influential leadership across engineering, sales, marketing, solution architects and customer success.
  • Passion for designing products that simplify the user experience of technically complex products.
