About the role

Frontend-focused role building the UI and frontend architecture for Latent’s core healthcare product, translating backend and AI complexity into intuitive, high-leverage user experiences for clinicians and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Own the user interface and frontend architecture for our core product
  • Architect a flexible and capable React ecosystem to host complex healthcare widgets and AI tools
  • Focus on high-level UI/UX to help providers navigate clinical data and AI-surfaced insights for workflows like Prior Authorizations and Appeals
  • Design and implement interfaces critical to workflows involving Patient Interactions
  • Collaborate with Full Stack and Backend Engineers to define interfaces and APIs to support rapid iteration and delivery of product specs

Qualifications

  • Primary Technologies: Deep expertise in React and TypeScript
  • Ecosystem Experience: Proven experience architecting large, scalable frontend applications
  • Healthcare Experience (Bonus): Familiarity with interfaces that interact with EHR systems or manage complex clinical data
  • Core Team Member: Excitement about working five days per week in our San Francisco office
  • Domain Curiosity: Interest in healthcare-related domains such as Prior Authorizations
  • Bias for Action: Proactive problem-solver with initiative
  • Tool Proficiency: Command line fluency and strong keyboard skills
