About the role

Full Stack Software Engineering Internships at Primer. Interns work on PrimerOS across frontend, backend, systems, hardware, and more, with ownership and mentorship in a startup environment. Roles involve building features used by teachers, students, and families, and contributing to a culture of excellence through code reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Work with TypeScript, Node, GraphQL, Prisma, Postgres, Next, React, and Relay.
  • Tackle meaningful projects with direct impact and build features used daily by teachers, students, and families.
  • Collaborate daily with engineering, product, design, and academic program teams.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence through code reviews and high-quality software.

Qualifications

  • Real passion for fixing the US education system and redesigning the school experience from the ground up.
  • Curiosity and willingness to dive into unknowns to determine what needs to happen.
  • Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and ability to apply them.
  • Pride in craft and commitment to building exceptional software.
