About the role

JetBrains Campus Ambassador in China role to raise awareness about JetBrains tools and Kotlin in universities, share experiences with peers, and promote free JetBrains tools for students.

Responsibilities

  • Host student meetups, workshops, and Q&A sessions, delivering talks on technologies that showcase JetBrains tools
  • Coordinate JetBrains’ participation in student conferences, campus competitions, hackathons, and similar events
  • Set up a student club, mentor peers, and build a community of passionate students
  • Collaborate with fellow JetBrains Campus Ambassadors worldwide

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in Computer Science or a related technical field with a background in software development
  • Familiar with and passionate about JetBrains tools and eager to share that passion with others
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills
  • Experience planning events or leading a team would be a plus
