About the role

Japan-focused Business Development Manager to lead domestic market strategy, client engagement, and partnerships for CLO Virtual Fashion’s 3D fashion software solutions (CLO, CLO-SET, CONNECT). Responsibilities include analyzing Japanese market trends, developing and executing strategies, supporting clients, and driving adoption of CLO’s 3D processes across apparel and related industries.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current and potential customers' internal processes and advise on 3D utilization
  • Create materials for clients and deliver presentations
  • Manage process implementation, contracts, and sales
  • Provide ongoing client support via email/phone/meetings
  • Build CLO-SET and CLO processes tailored to the Japanese market aligned with CLO’s vision
  • Analyze domestic apparel industry trends and plan business initiatives
  • Identify and build relationships with new partners
  • Plan and execute events such as trade shows and user summits

Qualifications

  • Experience driving innovation in internal planning, production, or marketing processes within a fashion company
  • 15+ years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or customer success
  • Ability to listen to internal and client feedback and think flexibly
  • Ability to adapt experience to new contexts and company culture
  • Strong communication skills and ability to share perspectives with the team
  • Empathy-based and logical communication with stakeholders
  • Ability to build trust with colleagues and clients
  • Vision-driven, broad perspective on initiatives and outcomes
