About the role

A Motion Designer responsible for creating compelling visual narratives using motion, typography, and design to craft high-impact videos and campaigns for Upstox, a leading Indian fintech brand.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, design, and animate motion graphics for brand campaigns, product films, and digital content.
  • Create kinetic typography, character animations, and storyboards that bring ideas to life.
  • Blend 2D and 3D elements to produce visually stunning and emotionally engaging content.
  • Edit and enhance video content using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
  • Ensure seamless storytelling and visual flow across marketing and brand channels.
  • Work collaboratively with the brand, product marketing, and social media teams to translate concepts into impactful visuals.
  • Use Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma to integrate design consistency across projects.
  • Experiment with Lottie, Jitter, or similar tools for micro-animations and product experiences.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in motion design, animation, or visual design.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma.
  • Deep understanding of typography, color, and motion principles.
  • Hands-on experience with storyboarding, character animation, and kinetic typography.
  • Able to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail and strong creative judgment.
  • A storyteller at heart — turning static designs into engaging, dynamic content.
