About the role
Chief of Staff role to act as a force multiplier for the leadership team, driving alignment, ensuring execution, and creating leverage across the business. Requires high agency, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to create value without waiting for direction.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to prioritize, execute, and track progress on the highest-impact strategic initiatives across the company
- Streamline decision-making, manage leadership cadences, and ensure follow-through on commitments to create leverage for leadership
- Work cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Growth, and Customer Success to close gaps, accelerate progress, and unlock new opportunities
- Build trust and alignment across teams to enable collaboration without relying on formal reporting lines
- Step into ambiguous, high-priority efforts such as launching new processes, tackling operational bottlenecks, or testing new growth levers
- Provide strategic input, surface insights, and help shape the future direction of Profound
Qualifications
- Hungry and high-agency operator, ambitious, driven, and proactive, seeing gaps and filling them without waiting for permission
- Experienced owner with a background as a product manager, founder, or early operator, owning outcomes end to end
- Collaborative leader skilled at influencing and driving alignment across teams without formal authority
- Strategic and tactical, equally comfortable thinking big picture and diving into execution details, with no task too big or too small
- Resilient and resourceful, thriving in ambiguity, adapting quickly, and biasing toward action
