About the role

Designs, builds, and operates platform systems critical for data modeling and management in biotech software, enabling scalable, customizable, and consistent scientific data structures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-impact projects from design through to deployment and operation.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business needs into effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical leaders to contribute to team growth and improve engineering processes.
  • Improve the maintainability, consistency, scalability, and developer experience of internal data modeling APIs.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role, ideally in SaaS or platform development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience iterating on feedback.
  • Proficiency in backend development, API design, data management, and web application development is highly desirable.
  • Experience leading & delivering projects independently or in teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Willing to work out of SF office 3 days a week.
  • Enthusiasm for complex technical challenges and interest in life sciences domain.
