About the role

Senior full stack engineer responsible for developing responsive web interfaces and backend Python services, collaborating with AI teams to prototype and ship user-facing features across a stack including React, TypeScript, Redux, Python, PostgreSQL, and Docker.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for building, deploying, testing, and maintaining clean user interfaces for our product which manages the full AI data cycle, including capture, labelling, AI training, and operator interfaces
  • Work closely with our AI teams to prototype, test, and ship user-facing features, balancing user experience with product & engineering constraints
  • Work with technologies like: Typescript, React/Redux for web front end, Python for backend systems, Github, & Docker
  • Execute feature changes based on user feedback, recommend and execute improvements

Qualifications

  • Over four years of professional experience in full-stack software development
  • Proven track record in designing, developing, and maintaining complex full-stack applications
  • Experience or strong familiarity with React, TypeScript, Redux, Python, PostgreSQL, and Ant Design
  • Advanced proficiency in front-end development with React and CSS, as well as expertise in Python, database technologies, and Docker containerization
  • Experience developing software for resource-constrained environments such as Raspberry Pi is highly desirable
  • Prior exposure to WebAssembly and sandboxed environments is considered an asset
  • Experience working with low-level hardware such as Linux SBCs or GPUs is advantageous
  • Previous experience in a startup environment is a plus
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal
