About the role

Lead the technical vision and architecture for complex, high-impact systems at Unstructured, focusing on enterprise data transformation, security, and AI infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Architect the future of enterprise systems, driving long-term architectural strategy for scale, performance, and simplicity.
  • Write production-ready code and lead projects that impact the company's platforms and services.
  • Mentor engineers across the organization, promoting best practices and scalable designs.
  • Solve deep technical challenges related to orchestration at scale, data flow, and AI-first infrastructure.
  • Lead cross-organizational initiatives by aligning engineering, product, and go-to-market teams around shared technical goals.

Qualifications

  • 7 to 10+ years of experience shipping production systems in high-growth, high-scale environments.
  • Deep technical expertise in cloud-native systems (AWS/GCP/Azure), and distributed architectures.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security fundamentals (IAM, least privilege, secrets management, data protection).
  • Hands-on experience designing and operating authentication and authorization systems (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, JWT, RBAC, ABAC).
  • Experience integrating enterprise identity providers and directory services (LDAP, Active Directory, SCIM).
  • Proven track record in leading major technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and influencing team culture.
  • Passion for performance, reliability, and elegant system design.
