About the role

Software engineers to help build the systems powering Giga's AI agents, spanning backend data pipelines, integrations, and agent infrastructure. Early-career roles with pairing to senior engineers and ownership of smaller projects end-to-end while ramping up.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to projects across the stack such as Atlas features (Slack charts/alerts, natural language queries, managing platform resources); Activity Stream log visualization with filters, timestamps, and frequency charts; Dynamic knowledge updates from sources like status pages; Agent memory for conversation awareness and context across sessions.
  • Ramp up quickly, take ownership of work, and operate with increasing independence as you learn the codebase.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Curious mindset and good question-asking to understand underlying reasons
  • Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
  • Preference for shipping features with quality and maintainability
  • Desire to grow at a startup with real responsibility early
