About the role

Design engineers own the feel of Sim and the code that brings it to life, combining engineering fundamentals with design taste to take interfaces from early exploration to production, defining interaction models, building prototypes, and shipping performant, accessible code for autonomous AI agent workflows in an enterprise platform.

Responsibilities

  • Define interaction models and build prototypes; ship production-ready, accessible code
  • Work across component architecture, application state, motion, and layout to make complex agent workflows intuitive
  • Collaborate with founders and own work from idea to execution; learn from users to shape product design and implementation
  • Interact with React, TypeScript, and UI/UX considerations to balance usability, accessibility, and performance

Qualifications

  • Strong engineering fundamentals with visual and interaction design taste
  • Experience with React, TypeScript, component architecture, and application state
  • Ability to make tradeoffs across usability, accessibility, and performance
  • New graduates welcome; projects, internships, and independent work count
