About the role

Recruiting Coordinator responsible for candidate experience, scheduling coordination, onsite hosting, and partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to keep recruiting operations running smoothly. Opportunity to contribute to building Cursor from the ground up and help shape the candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full scheduling experience including interview coordination so every candidate and interviewer shows up informed, prepared, and on time.
  • Host candidates onsite and create a candidate experience that's warm, human, and memorable while adapting to different personalities and making everyone feel at home.
  • Keep candidates and hiring teams in the loop throughout the process with timely, warm, and clear communication.
  • Partner closely with recruiters, interviewers, and hiring managers to anticipate needs, solve problems in real time, and keep things moving.
  • Keep our ATS (we use Ashby) accurate and up to date so nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Constantly finding and executing on opportunities to improve how we operate.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience coordinating high-volume work through internships, university campus leadership, or early-career roles (recruiting, people ops, EA/admin, hospitality/events, or similar).
  • Obsess over the details and double-check calendar invites for timezone accuracy.
  • Ability to take initiative, own work, and bring new ideas with good judgement to implement improvements.
  • Care for the experience of everyone involved in the process (candidates, hiring managers, interviewers).
  • Ability to stay calm and focused while managing many moving pieces.
  • Reliability and responsiveness in communication.
  • Genuine enjoyment of meeting new people and putting them at ease.
  • Discretion handling confidential information.
  • Bonus: experience with Ashby.
