About the role

Senior role focusing on designing, building, and operating AI-powered workflows and agents within a business domain to achieve 10x productivity gains, with production deployment and measurable KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Map workflows in the assigned domain (e.g., Commercial, Clinical Operations, Lab Operations, Sales & Marketing, Customer Experience).
  • Identify step-change opportunities leveraging AI, ML, or automation to unlock throughput, coverage, or speed.
  • Build the business case, quantify impact, and align with domain leadership on priorities.
  • Design future-state workflows including data flows across CRM, ERP, ticketing, document stores, internal tools, and external SaaS.
  • Define agent and human roles, context requirements, and handoffs; establish human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
  • Stand up agents and automation pipelines using approved AI platforms and frameworks.
  • Connect agents to business systems via MCP servers, APIs, webhooks, CLIs, and skills within IT/security guardrails.
  • Configure prompts, context, and retrieval pipelines for reliable production performance.
  • Handle integration complexities (auth, schema drift, rate limits, data quality, enterprise last-mile).
  • Enable access and training for business to run workflows.
  • Own agent performance end-to-end and track KPIs (throughput, quality, cost, human intervention rate, cycle time, adoption).
  • Build and manage evaluations; re-run them after changes; triage failures and tune prompts.
  • Instrument observability (tracing, logs, dashboards).
  • Ship production-ready workflows with measurable impact and reusable assets.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on technical fluency with CLIs, APIs, webhooks, SQL, and Python scripting.
  • Working knowledge of LLM and agent behavior (prompting, context, tool use, RAG, MCP, evals, failure modes).
  • Comfort with cloud platforms.
  • Experience with elevated access control (least-privilege, auditability, safe rollbacks).
  • Strong technical and process judgment; ability to defend prioritization and operate across technical/business domains.
