About the role

Customer Engineer role at Tavus combining product support, forward-deployed product & engineering, and innovation to build production-ready solutions with customers in AI/video space.

Responsibilities

  • Work on hardest technical challenges customers face and own unblocking them by debugging, shipping fixes, or building missing features.
  • Own the product experience, architecture, application code, Tavus integration, and deployment with customers from idea to production.
  • Ensure solutions are reliable, scalable, and production-ready and stay involved post-launch to support ongoing success.
  • Collaborate with founders, product teams, and engineers to shape experiences, push back on approaches, and build customer-facing products.
  • Prototype new experiences, explore integration with emerging technologies, and demonstrate future possibilities to customers.

Qualifications

  • Experience across product, engineering, and customer-facing roles; comfortable writing production code and owning outcomes.
  • Strong full-stack capabilities; able to build working products end-to-end.
  • Experience with AI-native companies or forward-deployed/solutions engineering roles preferred.
  • Ability to communicate with customers, run technical discovery, challenge assumptions, and define scope.
