About the role

Visionary Product Manager to own the evolution of Workflow and Business Process Management (BPM) capabilities, defining strategies and roadmaps, partnering with customers, and delivering BPM features including AI capabilities in workflows within Mendix.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for Workflow orchestration capabilities, ensuring alignment with business goals and the agentic enterprise vision.
  • Conduct market research and gather customer insights to identify emerging trends, competitive opportunities, and product differentiation in business process orchestration.
  • Develop and prioritize the product roadmap for workflows and micro-flows, balancing customer feedback, technical feasibility, and business impact.
  • Partner directly with engineering on workflow-engine architecture decisions (state management, task assignment, versioning, error handling) — not just feature scoping.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features and improvements to the Workflow portfolio.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to drive go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product adoption across enterprise customers.
  • Manage product-market fit by closely engaging with key customers and user communities to validate product concepts, gather feedback, and build positive relationships.
  • Supervise product performance metrics and KPIs, using data-driven insights to advise decision-making and optimize product outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Software Engineering required; equivalent hands-on technical experience considered in lieu of degree.
