About the role
Contribute to the design, operation, and continuous improvement of Chroma's developer cloud, ensuring high reliability, performance, and developer experience in a distributed cloud service.
Responsibilities
- Design, operate, and improve Chroma's distributed cloud system.
- Ensure high reliability, performance, and developer experience for AI developers using Chroma's cloud services.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with production Python, Rust, or Go services.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes, including Custom Operators, CRDs, and Helm.
- Experience with IaaC tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, or Honeycomb.
- Experience developing, maintaining, and operating build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with production distributed systems and databases.
- Passion for building reliable, scalable, and high-performance systems.
