About the role

Leader responsible for shaping and executing the Restaurant Technology Implementation function, overseeing hardware deployment, remote technical support, and product implementation for Tarro’s restaurant customers from the KL hub, with a focus on launching new products (POS system, Tarro Pay terminals) and expanding into the pizza vertical.

Responsibilities

  • Shape what Restaurant Technology Implementation looks like in two years: set direction, decide priorities, and create the roadmap.
  • Lead the charge into new territory: design operational models for POS, Tarro Pay terminals, and pizza vertical from the ground up.
  • Build a team that grows with you: lead 10 to 15 specialists and team leads, develop them into independent operators.
  • Find smarter ways to scale: optimize workflows, build processes that multiply output without increasing headcount.
  • Be a connector across the business: collaborate with Engineering, Product, Client Success, and Onboarding.
  • Lead by example: set standards during audits, client situations, and high-pressure moments.

Qualifications

  • - Close to the work, spanning strategy and frontline operations.
  • - Comfortable US hours with shifts starting at 4am.
  • - Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
  • - Passion for developing people; previous success leading Team Leads or supervisors.
  • - Ability to set direction for an operations function and assemble the right team.
  • - Thoughtful about team performance and structure; capable of adapting as the business grows.
  • - Natural collaborator with strong communication and integrity.
