About the role

Content Marketing Intern at Veryfi, a fintech startup, supporting both video and written content creation, SEO-focused blog posts, social media, email campaigns, and product coverage to boost brand visibility and organic growth.

Responsibilities

  • Growth Strategy & Industry Research: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging topics to inform content strategy and create timely, relevant blog posts that drive organic growth.
  • Content Creation, SEO & GEO: Develop blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, and marketing materials while optimizing for search engines and user engagement.
  • Reporting: Develop reports on marketing activities, tracking key metrics like website traffic, conversion rates, and ROI across all channels.
  • Research and Trends: Stay updated on digital marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Conduct research on industry competitors and market trends to identify opportunities for conversions and revenue through content production.
  • Video Editing: Generate branded marketing materials including long form videos and engaging social media reels; comfortable in front of the camera for social posting.
  • Blog Graphic creation: Create blog graphics using branded templates.
  • Email Marketing: Support email campaigns by drafting copy and segmenting lists.
  • Digital portfolio or strong examples showcasing previous work is required.

Qualifications

  • Recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop).
  • Highly organized and collaborative, with a proven ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work.
  • Solid understanding of social media strategy and core marketing principles.
  • SEO knowledge and experience with keyword research, on-page optimization, and basic technical SEO.
  • Content Management Systems experience (WordPress, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Analytics tools experience (Google Analytics preferred, Google Search Console, social media analytics).
  • Digital portfolio or strong examples showcasing previous work is required.
