About the role

Senior Security Engineer responsible for owning security across Roboflow’s stack, building tooling and automation, leading threat modeling and secure-by-default design, and managing the Bug Bounty program within a fast-growing startup.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Stack: Secure Kubernetes clusters, SaaS integrations, and developer workflows.
  • Usher in the Future: define and execute security vision in the era of LLMs.
  • Engineer for Security: Build internal tooling and CI/CD automations to catch vulnerabilities before production.
  • Architect & Model: Lead threat modeling sessions and secure code reviews; design secure-by-default APIs/deployments.
  • Harden the Perimeter: Strengthen authentication and access control across surfaces.
  • Red Team: Proactively probe for vulnerabilities and lead remediation.
  • Lead the Bug Bounty: Stand up, launch, and manage Bug Bounty Program; triage reports; drive remediation.
  • Respond & Remediate: Investigate vulnerabilities, lead incident response, conduct pen testing, and perform blameless postmortems that drive systemic change.
  • Evangelize: Translate security risks into actionable engineering tasks and collaborate effectively with peers.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in software/infrastructure engineering with a deep obsession with security.
  • Startup-native mindset; thrives in fast-paced 100–300 person environments; willingness to fail forward.
  • Cloud-savvy with Google Cloud (GCP), Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
  • Systems thinker able to analyze weaknesses across business logic, IAM configurations, or codebase.
  • Action-oriented with a track record of incident response and remediation leadership.
