About the role

Studio Guides support students academically, emotionally, and socially, working closely with the Primer Leader to maintain a safe, joyful, and well-run learning environment. This on-site role involves active participation in instruction, culture, and operations, with responsibilities across small-group instruction, classroom management, and logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Support a safe, predictable classroom culture
  • Build positive relationships with students
  • Lead and support literacy and math small group instruction
  • Prepare materials and help run Pursuits (Primer’s interdisciplinary curriculum)
  • Notice student needs and communicate quickly
  • Support the lead teacher by helping keep the classroom safe, orderly, and clean and by assisting with student supervision during arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, and transitions
  • Follow safety protocols and support coverage needs
  • Communicate clearly and follow through on tasks

Qualifications

  • 1 or more years of experience working with children in some capacity
  • Must be willing to report to work in person
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Warm, calm presence with children
  • Reliable, consistent, and proactive
  • Comfortable assisting with instruction
  • Strong communication and teamwork

Benefits
