About the role

Senior full-stack engineering role at Strada, building an AI-driven insurance operations operating layer. In-person in San Francisco, with ownership over cross-functional features, architecture decisions, and customer-facing product areas (voice, chat, workflows, integrations).

Responsibilities

  • Ship your first PR to production and contribute immediately
  • Own meaningful feature or system improvement end-to-end from design to deployment (first 30 days)
  • Shape architectural decisions, tooling, or infrastructure
  • Build relationships with FE developers and customers to guide product direction
  • Take ownership of a core product area (voice, chat, workflows, or integrations) and drive its roadmap
  • Lead technical initiatives that ship to customers
  • Establish engineering best practices and mentor newer engineers
  • Have a real seat at the table on product and technical strategy as an early engineer

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in full-stack web development, preferably at startups
  • Deep experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
  • Strong attention to detail and an eye for design
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Track record of owning technically challenging, cross-functional projects
  • Customer-first mindset and strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
