About the role

Account Associate at SpaceXAI is an entry-level sales role focused on pipeline generation through outbound prospecting, discovery conversations, and close collaboration with Account Executives to move opportunities through the sales funnel in the AI/developer tools space.

Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified pipeline for the Account Executive team through high-volume outbound prospecting, including cold calls, personalized emails, LinkedIn, and multi-channel sequences
  • Research target accounts and map stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and Leadership to identify the right entry points
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand how development teams work, what slows them down, and where Cursor fits
  • Partner with AEs to develop account strategies, hand off opportunities, and stay looped in as deals progress
  • Hit and exceed weekly activity targets and monthly qualified meeting goals
  • Represent SpaceXAI's brand and product with conviction as the first impression to many prospects
  • Bring market intelligence back to the team about resonating messaging and objections
  • Help build the playbook and influence scaling as an early AA

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in a sales, customer-facing, or business development role
  • SDR/BDR experience at a SaaS or developer tools company is a strong plus
  • Self-starter who owns pipeline and does not rely on handed leads
  • Clear written and verbal communication, ability to explain a complex product to a technical audience
  • Curiosity about software development and AI's impact on the craft
  • Organized and data-driven, tracks activity, learns from metrics, iterates quickly
  • Resilience and ability to handle rejection
  • Ambition to grow into an Account Executive role and willing to put in the reps to get there
