About the role

Solutions Consultant at EliseAI supporting the Future Platforms team, acting as the accounting/finance subject matter expert to win enterprise deals, shape product direction, and translate EliseAI’s platform into CFO/Controllers language while influencing accounting feature development.

Responsibilities

  • Own finance-facing sales support: Partner with Sales and Account Executives on enterprise and strategic deals; Lead tailored product demos for CFOs, Controllers, and Finance leaders; Act as the bridge between technical product capabilities and real-world finance operations
  • Be the credibility layer for finance buyers: Engage with prospect CFOs, VPs of Finance, and Controllers; handle detailed accounting and workflow questions (intercompany eliminations, bank reconciliation processes, period close workflows, audit readiness and controls); Position Elise as a reliable system for finance teams
  • Shape product through customer insight: Translate objections and workflow needs into actionable product feedback; Partner with Product and Engineering to refine accounting features and roadmap investments; Define best-in-class accounting workflows within Elise
  • Drive go-to-market strategy for accounting product: Support positioning, messaging, and enablement for finance use cases; Build demo environments, playbooks, and repeatable narratives for selling into finance teams; Enable the broader GTM org to speak to accounting personas
  • Move at rocket speed, build something massive: operate with autonomy, contribute to scaling fast, and define impact within a founder-like environment

Qualifications

  • Background as a Controller, Accounting Manager, or finance-related roles (ideally in a high-growth or tech-enabled environment)
  • Experience working at or with tech startups (fintech, ERP, accounting software, or adjacent)
  • Strong understanding of core accounting workflows (close, reconciliations, consolidations, controls)
  • Comfort translating between finance, product, and technical teams
  • Excellent communicator with senior finance stakeholders
  • Highly autonomous, action-oriented, and comfortable operating in ambiguity
  • Excited to help define a new function and influence product direction
  • Willingness to work in person at our office 4-5 days a week
